Notice: Hacked Inverters and Batteries

The link on this page is for reference of a job designed for Ana and James Duval.  This particular job changed more than 3 times during it's installation.  Each change reflected a larger solar system than the original discussed design.
The original design on this page is actually a 3rd update regarding their system before going to a final product of Schnieder Electric commercial grade equipment.  This is far from the original design which was intended to be a small limited system with no computer control or programming necessary.  However, this design was forced to change because the house wiring had already been started and was wired for a split phase 240 volt grid tie type system. An off-grid solar system can be wired in this manner but it's not the most efficient method of utilizing solar system power.  The information in this linked document shows the original design equipment using simple inverters as originally discussed and accepted.
At the end of the parts list a Estimated Power Usage guide (8.7kwh)was also included based upon the original discussions with the owners on what equipment and power needs would be. This 3rd iteration now included 2 refridgerators and a freezer, no jaccuzi or other items were included as it was never discussed..
One last note, the original system of two 3000 watt single phase inverters was originally designed to run two circuits, both connected via 10 guage UF1 wire to house and water pump. One inverter was for the water pump, the other for the house. And to save money, the 6.8 kw Schnieder Inverter was connected to the house with both 10 guage wires in parallel. This would have provided aproximately 30 amps at full load at 240 volts which is well within safetly limits of the wiring. There were many conficts with continuing changes being made during construction and installation. I had nothing to do with the original actual house wiring, which I warned had floating grounds in the sub-panel
